DannyCoyles Posted April 7, 2011 Share Posted April 7, 2011 We have been in Melbourne for nearly 3 years now and have settled really well. Been through the usual homesickness, can’t fit in, love it here, hate it here, want to go home, never going to leave etc. For the first time since arriving in Melbourne I have just spent a few days working in Sydney. Nothing wrong with Sydney, that’s not what this is about but really wanted to get back home to Melbourne. Found myself arguing with Sydney folk about why Melbourne is better whereas normally I would just say we have only just moved here and not get involved. It hit me that Melbourne really is home now and driving back from the airport I couldn’t have been happier.
