micheleandbarry Posted July 3, 2010 Share Posted July 3, 2010 Hi all, After a few crazy months panicking with all these new changes this year, just done cert 3 hairdressing on student visa, I have finally got a job in a salon, and they love me! Phew! I was going to do cert 4, to extend my student visa,and give me more time to find an employer. But my new boss wants me in the salon full time, and wants to sponsor me asap, the only thing I am worried about is my current student visa expires on 25 Aug, and we are getting the nomination paperwork in this week, to the regional certifying for RSMS, but will i be put on a bridging visa, if it doesnt come through in time? So happy got a great employer, and a chance to stay here, and in a job I love. After all these changes was so worried... By the way a big thanks to Alan and Sarah at Go Matilda, for the advice and help, Gave me the kick up the bum to find an employer asap!! ( Be speaking to you soon..) Thanks in advance!
