sarahjl
Hi, my OH needs to get a statutory declaration for the ARTC as the company he did his electrical work for is no longer trading but we are now in WA. Can we get one witnessed in WA for work that was carried out in the UK or does it not really matter just as long as it is done correctly? Just making sure as we need to pay $300 for it as it needs to be reassesed and dont want it to be refused just because of that! Cheers, Sarah
S92LAME
<----------------- not being responsible for you losing $300 on my say so!! i would think it would be ok, since its a commonwelth country. i had to get one for my RAF service, and was send an Aus stat dec to fill in. however the JP wouldnt sign it cos he wasnt an aussie JP, so did it under british stat dec. when i asked my agent about it he said, "doesnt make any difference, a stat dec is a stat dec!" just my experience.
