Guest Shassa Posted May 6, 2010 Share Posted May 6, 2010 My partner has been in Australia for 13 months on a sub class 120 labour agreement. I want to join him on a partner visa. We have been partners for 3 years but only lived together in my house for 3 months before he left for Australia. I have remained in UK until my daughter had finished school. We have no joint finances - although have been on each others car insurance and lots of 'couple' evidence - photos, holidays, emails from 3 years ago and 12 months telephone record (almost daily) since he moved. I stay with him in Australia for 4 weeks at a time every 6 months and he has returned to my home twice in the last 12 months (loads of air miles!). We can get 3rd party supporting letters - police sergeant in Australia, Justice of Peace in UK, family, employers in UK and Australia etc. What do you think my chances are of getting a partner visa??
