sarahjl Posted May 4, 2010 Share Posted May 4, 2010 Hi, my OH is an Instrument technician working in an oil refinery for the last 17yrs before that he was a qualified electrician. We are moving to WA and he would be looking for work in another refinery or power station etc but a lot of instrumentation jobs ask for an a grade license, can he get that with a Electrical fitters (instrument) grading or does he need to be an electrical mechanic? What extra stuff would he need to be able to reapply for a electrical mechanic? very confused with all this license stuff!!!!!
