dave1814 Posted April 1, 2010 Share Posted April 1, 2010 Hi All, Could anyone advise me on the state of the IT job market in Sydney for people on a 1 year work visa? Are people reluctant to employ you? Me and my partner are thinking of applying for citizenship but before we do we would like to 'test the water' for a bit and maybe trial working there for a year (if possible)! Guest Posted April 1, 2010 Share Posted April 1, 2010 I'm in Perth so can't advise you directly but 3 month/6 month contracts are common in IT so it wouldn't be a problem.
