I am just about to lodge my application for the de facto visa, I have heard so many different stories on how long it could take to process. Guest Boomer Posted January 13, 2006 Share Posted January 13, 2006 In think it differs depending on how long you have been with your partner. I submitted mine on 6 Dec 05. On the 15 Dec 05 I got a letter saying I was in. By 22 Dec 05 I had my visa in my passport. Bit quicker than we had hoped as I now have to be there by 13 Sept 06 (1 year from when I had my medical done) but I ain't complaining Boomer Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
