Guest mange227
Couldn't find it anywhere either. Most dishwasher tabs have the salt built into them however. I have been using mine for 5 mths with no extra salt added and so far no problems.
Ratchet
Hi, thanks for replying. im not sure it needs it but chris seems to think it is crying out for it. All the glasses are looking rough.
Guest proud2beaussie
Hi kelly, Have a read through this thread on Whirlpool. Where can I buy dishwasher salt ? - Kitchen - Home apparently you can get it at Harvey Norman. Cheers (BTW just noticed the thread is a few years old)

Bobbsy
The dishwasher I bought here in Aus doesn't even have a place to put salt. I just use Woolworth's own brand "5 in 1" tabs and have no problems--I think I generally get cleaner stuff than I did back in the UK with all the bits and pieces. spottydog
The dishwasher I bought here in Aus doesn't even have a place to put salt. Same on the 3 ones I've used since being here, I guess they don't have hard water here. I'm sure I remember reading ages ago someone suggesting using pool salt. To the OP have you tried using dishwasher liquid rather than powder/tablets? I find it reduces the amount of scratching on glasses.
