Billabong
~want to make sure I get this right.. We need to make our 'initial entry' before Feb and will be in NZ in Oct, so have arranged 2 days in Sydney, then back to NZ... Is this OK? And... can anyone suggest somewhere affordable in Hong Kong for two adults and five kids?... can't quite manage The Peninsular! Cheers
twinkle
Gosh, that is a tall order! Having just spent 3 months in Hong Kong living in a shoe box I can only offer sympathy! A space big enough for that many people and affordable is tough. Will dig around in some of our old stuff and see if I can find anything.... goodluck! Billabong
Cheers for that... we normally rent an apartment but am having difficulty finding anything in HK... do you know of any agents that could give us a deal on hotel rooms? Thanks for looking.
twinkle
Hi, we had friends who stayed in serviced apartments called 'Shama', they have several places in HK and are one of the cheaper but nice ones. The only problem witht hem is that they book up quick and have minimum stays. Might be worth taking a look at. http://www.shama.com if they don't suit your needs take a look at http://www.icehouse.com.hk they are one of the cheapest, very central but as far as I know only have rooms suitable for couples, at their prces you may be able to have a few rooms though?! will keep looking.
