Tommy Tucker
Banks, Which One to Choose? Arriving in Sydney at the end of the month and just wondering, which bank is best for migrants etc. ANZ, Westpac, NAB, they all seem the same?
calNgary
Hi they are pretty much the same and all as popular as each other. Guest The Pom Queen
There isn't much different in the big banks to be honest. A lot of our clients choose Westpac and they have been very good and offer excellent service. Like Cal, when we first arrived we went with ANZ but now we use Bendigo a community bank and AMP. Guest migration angel
We bank with the Commonwealth Bank. Banks get a lot of bad press particularly the big four because of the fees they charge. I don't think there is much difference between them to be honest, although Westpac seem to be going after the migrant market more actively. Here's a link to Commonwealth Bank in the UK if you need to chat to them. Moving to Australia> Help Before you arrive/ Commonwealth bank of Australia Good luck!
