panman
Some advice please, If we apply for a 12 month tourist would we be able to renew it while still in OZ? If I can renew it; while still in OZ is there a limit to how many times I can do this. Dave

It is not possible to use back-to-back tourist visas as a means of "living in Australia" merely because you have no other way of doing so. If on the other hand you are a Parent with a Queued application for a subclass 103 Parent visa then DIAC can be surprisingly generous. What are the relevant facts, please? Best wishes Gill
panman
Hi Gill, In answer to your question my wife and have both have a Queued 103 visa application since Sep 2007. As of last saturday we were just under the 10,000 mark on the list. Best Regards Dave
