mchugh1980 Posted May 15, 2009 Share Posted May 15, 2009 Hi Everyone, Just wondering if anyone has any knowldege on the links between NZ and OZ visas We put our application for Emmigration to Australia via a 176 family sponsor visa in Dec, due to the changes from the government we are now at the bottom of the list and unfortunately we are not eligable for State Sponsorship, so looks like were gonna have to sit and wait and wait for how long? who knows! So our plan is to go to New Zealand on a WHV as we under 30 and have no kids etc so really we have no ties in the Uk, so the question im asking really is 'is it possible'? we are wondering whether it may affect our application to oz? You can get one for 1 year & extend for up to 23 months when in NZ. You can buy these online from places like STA travel.
