The Butlers Posted May 5, 2009 Share Posted May 5, 2009 Hi All While we are waiting for our SSV, I thought it would be a good time to start to look for places to go for our medical's so if you could please tell me what area you had them done and how much they were it would be a great help. I did do a search but after 15 pages thought it would be quicker to put in a post. We live in the kent area (south east england) If you would like to put any other area's in for others to see I am sure they will be a great help ! Thanks again for your time. Emma and gang. We did our Med's about 3 weeks ago just waiting to hear that all is ok...so fingers crossed and we applied for SS in March but the recieved it 2nd April. Guest Janeloz Posted May 13, 2009 Share Posted May 13, 2009 Hi We live near Ashford, Kent and were advised that the Croydon doctor that is on the list is a better price than the Dover one, but I have not looked into it yet, as we have only just submitted our application, so can't tell you whether it is or not, but may be worth a look. The breakdown for 4 of us were adults medical 115 child under 11, 60 child over 11, 80 xray 50 in Mayday hospital nearby. courier to Oz 20 per person post 7 per person. but they only accept cash, no credit card wijay Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Guest yankee Posted May 13, 2009 Share Posted May 13, 2009 Wow, that's all very cheap! :swoon: We will pay 70 Euros per person for x-rays in Germany, plus then we'll pay 80 Euros UPS express shipment of the medicals to Sydney. This is for a 457. If this were for any other visa (or work in a school/hospital etc.), we'd have to pay 130 Euros on top of that (each) for the full Medical. So, consider yourselves lucky! I have spoke to them and we have to wait until 11th june but Harrison needs a new passport so will wait to get that then book. Same only accept cash. only do them Tuesday mornings and Thursday afternoon. Hope this helps everyone. I phoned and they said we could come in june so 4 week wait.
