shazney64
Just had a removal company in to give us a quote for shipping. All went went and was very knowledgable and polite. When i asked for insurance his advice was to shop around. I thought would be included or at least an option to purchase from them? Is this the norm? Do you have to shop around seperately for contents insurance during the move? Know the quotes bit early now with the csl changes but booked in good time in mind of my holidays. Many thanks sharon x
Guest The "legdes"
Hi there, We've had quotes from 4 companies. The insurance does seem to be a seperate cost. A friend of our works for one of the more famous removers and his personal advice to us was only to insure the items we'd really want replaced - you don't have to insure the whole container and this really knocks the insurance costs down. Hope this helps.
shazney64
Yes the man suggested that, i asked my normal home insurance lenders but they did not do that, have to keep looking thought the shippers may have reccomendations. Thanks for the reply sharon x
