briggs
Hi, I am currently in a relationship. I am applying for a 475 Visa, and due to get married soon. but i was going to apply for a 475 visa for myself and my partner to come on a WHV for a while, as my partner has no qualifications and would not be eligiable for the 475 visa as the 2nd applicant. Is it true that i can not be married to apply for this 475 visa? Sorry if this sounds like a silly question. Thank you

You have to prove de facto status as in you have been in a relationship for at least 12 months prior to your application. If your partner is not the main applicant he does not have to prove his skills unless you want to claim extra points. My OH didn't do a skills assessment just me. He just has to do meds, send passport, birth cert and police check .
