Guest HeywoodMonkey Posted March 16, 2007 Share Posted March 16, 2007 Stupid question but i've got to ask I have just been given a brand new Sony Vaio laptop from my insurance company....long story, anyway as daft as it may seem but the voltage in Oz ? will it blow it up when i plug the thing in ? Guest nj Posted March 16, 2007 Share Posted March 16, 2007 No, laptops themselves are DC anyway, your little power supply box, if you turn it over will probably range from 110vac to 250vac the only thing you need is a different plug or adapter.
