Looking for ideas of places to stay (at reasonable cost) in Hunter Valley in August. Tying in a trip with my Dads 60th:wink:

Jo, if you have not been there before you will have a great time, espec if you like wine & cheese, you can hire a horse & cart to take you from vineyard to vineyard & there are loads - horse & cart is good cause after the first 10 or so vineyards ya legs may go from under you lol

Thanks mate! The plan is:

- overnight stop on way

- 3 nights in Hunter

- 3 nights in Sydney

-Overnight stop on way back

 

All ideas gratefully received! Last time we went to Sydney we stayed at The Shangri-La which was pricey but with all the vouchers etc that we got worked out to be a great deal!
