My Mother in law is visiting us in Oz at the moment, and we have enquired with Emirates about extending her trip by two weeks, no problems. However, when I rang her travel insurance company, they said that they could not extend the policy or issue her a new one as she is already out of the UK. Anyone experienced this, and know ways round it, or an insurance company that would insure her extended trip and the journey home? She is 76 but no major health issues.
