Guest yvonne & paul Posted March 4, 2007 Share Posted March 4, 2007 Us again!! Anyone had any dealings with a State Territory Nominated Visa or a Skill Matching Visa. As I have said before our problem is my husband qualified as a plumber about 3 years ago then went to college doing Gas and is now registered Corgie and has been working doing this for 6 months, Our problem is his lack of experience for the Skilled Visa but looking at the State Nominated and Skill Matching you need alot less. In fact we do not quite understand how it works as it states something like "You need to have worked in your trade for 6 out of 12 months but not more than 18 months"" !!!!! ANYONE - CAN YOU HELP OR EXPLAIN ANYTHING. We do have a migration officer but are still waiting to hear back from him. I have reminded him agian via email.
