Guest dan&nikki
ok- it might be more suited to Miami beach, but i fancy (as part of keeping fit) roller skating ....but wondered if anyone who lives in Adelaide knows if its something ppl do there, also would you have to wear a helmet as you do for cycling/skateboard/etc??? Guest tinbasher
Yes people roller-skate all the time along the sea front, we often see people roller-blading with a pram in front of them. Some people wear a helmet others don't bother. It is not like riding a bike were it is compulsory. So happy skating, I don't do it as if I fell on my fat a*(^ then there would be an earthquake!! Nikki  Saw a guy rollerblading several times around River Torrens yesterday. He didn't have a helmet on. He was going at some speed too, making me tired just watching him.
