natasha2106
hi all, firstly happy new year to all POI. We are starting the visa process in the next couple of months and we are unsure regarding the medicals. We have been told part of the medicals is to have blood tests. but does this mean the children too? Our children are 8 and 5 will they also have to have blood tests done?? thanks tasha:unsure:
Guest JD97
Hi there Tasha Your children won't have blood tests at all. You have to be over 16 if you are going to have a blood test. So really there is nothing to worry about!!!! Cheers James
natasha2106
thanks james. im petrified of needles myself and the thought of having a blood test makes me feel sick, but to think my kids also had to have them was giving me cold sweats and nightmares. thanks again i can now go back to only worrying about mine.lol. calNgary
try not to worry too much , the medicals arent anything to worry about really. Where will you be having them done? if you post on here chances are someone has used the same clinic and will be able to tell you exactly what is invloved as some clinics/DRs do vary slightly on what they do. Good Luck with everything and as i said try not to worry Cal x
