Guest tiff
Can someone with permanent residence (who is being sponsored) sponsor someone else (to help them with their business???) I am thinking no, but thought I would ask anyway...

Alan Collett
Only State or Territory Governments can sponsor for business skills visas. Friends cannot sponsor anyone - unless they have an interest in a business which in turn can sponsor for an employer sponsored visa (eg 457, or ENS/RSMS). Friends can though act as an Assurer for those visas that require an Assurance of Support. Best regards.
