jack&mick
Hi all sorry new to this web site so not sure if i'm doing this properly. does anyone know info about the trade asses for engineers as my OH is a mechanical engineer also has anyone heard anything about the aus gov putting a stop to migration workers because of the credit crunch as I received an emailfrom one of the immigration agencies about it yesterday. Any info would be great as hoping to start ball rolling applying for visas asap. thanx jack&mick
Guest RachaelK
I had to get my skills assessment for civil engineering, but I have a recognized degree. You can do it that way or through experience/skills used. If you do an online search for 'Engineers Australia' you should be able to find a good amount of info, as that's teh governing body that does the assessment. Guest The "legdes"
My husband has a HNC and HNC in Mechanical and Production engineering and was assessed by TRA as his trade was a ToolMaker. The ASCO /ASRI job code description tells you which is the assessing body for an occupation.
