Guest cityboy Posted October 29, 2008 Share Posted October 29, 2008 Hello to all. Has anybody out there migrated to Victoria, Geelong/Warnambool or South East Vic to work as an Optometrist or Nurse. If so, what are the working hours and conditons like especially for optoms and have you gone down the employed or self employed route. As far salaries, how do they compare to the UK and is Geelong a decent place to live. I read about it having money pumped into it by the Vic Government and there are some industrial areas. Does it have a good vibe about it and does the coastal setting make up for some of the industrial areas . Any advice and opinion greatley appreciated:unsure: Best wishes, Cityboy and family.
