Guest John Sydney Posted November 14, 2008 Share Posted November 14, 2008 This is for NSW its about the same each state Buying second hand from a dealer - all you get is a receipt - Generally the rego papers are sent to the RTA and they will mail you the updated Rego papers in your name for which you then pay them Buying second hand Private - receipt plus Rego papers filled out so you can take them to the Rta and get them transferred to your name Buying NEW receipt, copy of the greenslip, rego papers in your name Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
