Guest chocolatey Posted October 16, 2008 Share Posted October 16, 2008 Hi There Guys, You will see many Threads on here from me asking many questions! Another one I need to ask. My husband has been offered a job in Brisbane for 60k Possibly 70k a year. Is this enough money to rent a 3 bed house to start with, food,utility bills and run a car? I have 2 children 9 and 2 aswell. I will be looking at going to work myself once we have settled and I am a Qualified Dental Nurse so eventually there will be more income coming to us. joetrac Posted October 16, 2008 Share Posted October 16, 2008 60k will be well enough to get you started and should secure you a decent rental.It should be enough to pay bills/food etc and a little left over for kids activities .Obviously you have to live within your means but it can be done on 60k.
