Guest amjam
Does anyone know how much it costs for routine checks at the hospital. My son has a disability and needs 6 - 12 monthly checks. He's not ill and doesn't need medication. Any information on this and anything related would be great.

Guest Brickie
Medicare only cover part of the cost unless the Hospital or Doctor bulk bill Medicare, then its all free. If the bill is not all covered then you have to pay the gap or your medical insurance pays the gap. Im pretty sure the gap is about 20% for most things. alcocainmel
Our son has a medical condition and has 6 monthly check ups at The Royal Childrens Hospital in Melbourne. Its a public hospital and therefor we dont have to pay for it. Hope this helps. Deb xx
