186 Visa Skills Assessment NVQ Level 2 = Cert III Carpentry

Hi

Most reading I have done online suggests that a UK NVQ Level 2 is not equivalent to Level III in Carpentry and that NVQ Level 3 is required.

But, I have read in other places that NVQ Level 2 can be considered as minimum to proceed with a skills assessment. I await a reply form TRAEnquiries@dese.gov.au, however their auto response does not give me a lot of confidence as to when I might get a reply.

Any Advice would be appreciated.

I would check with a registered migration agent, but I believe you need level 3
