Guest Jaynie
I'm not sure, maybe you should go to a tax accountant for this year, they know all the rules and regulations, have you looked at the ATO website for etax returns? You can download the programme and put your return in online. Here is the address..... e-tax essentials
Guest sweetpea0701
Don't think you can claim anything for flying tools out.....that's personal choice. You could negotiate with the employer There is a tax you can claim called "LAFH" - Living away from home. This would have to be agreed with your employer also.... Talk to the employer
Guest itskaren
Hi all, question from my OH: What exactly can he claim for tax wise on a 457 visa? Can he claim for flying tools out or anything for renting? Thanks guys I was told that I would get LAFHA (Living away from home allowance). However, 3 months in the job and constanting asking when this would get paid my employers said 'we don't do it anymore'. The only benefit was the rent would have been paid. bunch of con artists!!!
