191 visa

I am the lucky ones to be granted my 491 visa.

My question is I know I have to apply for the 191 visa after 3 years of holding my 491 visa but say I apply  4 years and 3 months in the 5 year term of the 491 visa, does the application of the 191 visa have to be completed and granted in that time or will my 491 visa expire this having to have to leave the country.

You will get a bridging visa to enable you to stay until your 191 is granted.
