Lu1u
Hiya! I'm hoping to move back to Australia in the second half of 2024 with my husband and child. My husband and I both have valid resident return visas until 2026. I'm trying to work out when to apply for the child visa! The website says 24-30 months for processing (plus 1 year to validate) but some people get visas quickly. Is our 101 likely to be quite quick as we're valid/current residents? Thanks

No quicker than anyone else's because every application needs a parent who is a citizen or holder of a permanent visa.

Thanks for your speedy reply! But does that mean if I didnt have a permanent visa, the apication time for the child visa would be the time it took for my visa PLUS the processing time for a child visa? But i do have a visa so it would just be the processing time for a child visa? Or, no?
