Vishnu2196 Posted January 7, 2021 Share Posted January 7, 2021 Hello, My Student Visa expires on the 31st of January this year and I was stuck in some of the questions on the application form. In the part where the documents need to be submitted, it is asking me for Police check from the home country as well as the Australian Police check. I have successfully done the police check for Australia but I have no Police check information for my home country (India). I was not asked for the home country police check information on my former Student Visa application (500) and also my friend who completed his Visa (485) 6 months back was not asked for a home country police verification documents or check information. I am unaware of any updates on the application forms by the Australian Immigrations and I am only stuck with this document and rest all clear. This application is being lodged by myself and while I tried seeking help from the IDP Australia's team and the Australian Immigrations helpline which was not at all helpful and other agents were charging more than $100 for on call enquiry help. ali Posted January 7, 2021 Share Posted January 7, 2021 If the application is specifically requesting a police check from your home country you should provide one so as not to further delay your application.
