IanJ
Hi All, I'm currently on a 489 visa (living in Geelong and loving it!!) and have met the 2 year regional residency requirement and 1 year regional working requirement to apply for a 887 visa. My questions is regarding my daughter, who was on my original 489 visa application. She has been in Australia for the past 7 months (also in Geelong) and from what I understand she could be put on my 887 visa application. However she is feeling really really homesick and has booked a flight back to England on Saturday understanding that she may not be able to get back into the Country until border restrictions are lifted (and who knows when that will be). My question is, if I put in an 887 visa application for me and my daughter before she leaves Australia what happens when the visa is granted if she is unable to get back into the country? Is our visa application refused for the both of us or only one of us? Normally this wouldn't be a question as without travel restrictions my daughter could let her feelings play out and would know where her future lies Any feedback much appreciated Thanks Ian
