Guest Watersports
Nothing to worry about. Had mine on Monday with my partner. The hour went like this: - Weight & height measurement followed by a urine sample - Chest X-ray - Both in the doctors at the same time. Asked a few questions, then took blood pressure, listened to breathing, poked tummy a few times, check hands, and asked to read from an eye chart (sight test) - Had blood samples taken. Easy peasey. Advice on what to wear - trousers or skirt that can be worked down your hips a little as the doctor pokes your tummy. And either a top where the sleeves roll up or no sleeves for blood test and blood pressure. It meant no stripping off at all for me with the doctor. For the chest X-ray, both sexes have to take off their tops. I was given one of those hospital tops to wear over my top half (could keep skirt/trousers on) and was x-rayed in the top so no-one saw me naked at any time. Men just get asked to remove thier shirts and have to press against the x-ray machine half naked....and apparently it's cold! Hope that helps - honestly though, nothing to worry about. Guest carolinejane
we too were worried i have a 6 and 9 year old. Please dont bother to worry. Our family of four were all done within an hour and a half and the chect x rays were done in about half an hour. They were easy peasy and nothing to worry about however unlike the previous reply we did have to strip off down to our underwear but they give you a blanket to hide under! All of the same checks were carried out as in the previous reply.
