I have completed 47Pa for my dad and added mum to it. Hubby (Aussie) will sponsor them, so also completed form 40. I've been in AU for 10 years, my brother is still in the UK (both in our 40's). All family were born in the UK. 1. Does my brother need to complete form 47a? He is not migrating and is not dependent. We have no other siblings. 2. My mum has a passport (in her married name) and marriage cert (from maiden name to married as shown on passport). Her birth cert is a different surname to that of her maiden name. Local authorities have no records. Her father passed when she was very young and her mother remarried. We think they must have just given her the new surname and not changed it by deed poll.
