mhcornwall
Hi Everyone. I assume everyone applying for the 309 in 2019 has experienced a longer delay in the grants or even RFIs than normal. Also seeing the estimated grant time has increased over this time. Just wondering if anyone has heard the reason for this? I haven't used a MARA agent, but just in case someone on here has and has heard any reasons. We have applied from the UK, so not sure if its a global thing or a problem just with the UK processing office. Obviously the pain of waiting is just awful, and any help to ease it would be appreciated.
paulhand
I know it sounds trite, but the reason is that there are more applications going in than grants coming out the other end, so the queue keeps getting longer. Even though the Government is not legally allowed to cap partner visas, they can manage processing to hit their "target" number of grants. It's a global issue. mhcornwall
I had heard that some embassies in a few countries had stopped processing applications and these had been redirected to other processing offices. How true this is i dont know.
