Can anyone tell me what is involved with the medical part, and what type of checks are done? MY wife suffers with Fibromyalgia and we're concerned it may effect her chance of getting a visa. I'm an Australian citizen living in the UK and both our daughters have just got Australian citizenship through decent. Our plan is to move back to OZ in 2023. Many thanks. wrussell Posted September 22, 2019 Share Posted September 22, 2019 It will come down to a question about the likely cost of treatment over 10 years. Until recently it was the expected lifetime cost. If it is assessed that the cost is 'undue' a health waiver would be available in your case. May I suggest that you consult a registered migration agent for advice about how to deal with this issue?
