AJ
Are you not supposed to work in a regional area with that visa?

Please advise whether i need to declare the tax for the income which i earned in overseas . Cheers Check out the ATO website, they describe particular situations where foreign income is not taxed in Australia for temporary visa holders who are “resident for tax purposes”. You need to understand these terms else it could be costly. This advice tends to apply to something like rental income from a house though. Generally speaking , wages earned working overseas, are taxable in Australia if you are tax resident in Australia.
