akashboaz
Hi expertsBackground:I have 9 years of experience in ICTI had initiated skill assessment last year for ICT business analyst. I got a positive skill assessment with 4 years deducted from my experience.I decided not to go ahead with ICT BA and re initiated skill assessment this year for Analyst programmer but when I got the assessment, ACS deducted 6 years from my experience Questions 1. Why is it that ACS deduct 6 years now and not 4 years2. Can I still go ahead and file EOI with ICT BA assessment3. Will the old assessment be nullified because I got this new assessment done Your inputs will be very valuable. Waiting to hear from the experts in the forum! Thanks
JetBlast
1. Because it's not the same job nor closely related. You can't expect to get the exact same work experience when they are different occupations. 2. You can only have 1 active skills assessment so you will have to do it again. After that I expect you can yes. 3. Yes Edited March 15, 2019 by JetBlast
Jenki75
1. @JetBlast was spot on in his reply. 2. If it was done less than 24 months ago - YES 3. Can you have more than 1 active skills assessment ... On the main page of the ACS Skills assessment page, it says: "Please Note: Only one application can be active at any one time." In the FAQ section, it specifically says however that you can have more than one assessment completed, and still valid. "Holding more than one suitable assessment outcome will not invalidate any of the previous result letters provided they are still within the 24-month validity period.
