clairesugar Posted November 15, 2018 Share Posted November 15, 2018 Hi all, Does anyone know if you can enter Australia on a tourist Visa while your visa is being processed? I did my EOI for 190 visa NSW as Secondary School Teacher 4 weeks ago and haven’t got an invite (65 points). I’m now thinking i need to do the English Exam again and get full marks.I would like to go March next year and would go on a tourist visa if PR is not granted but, not sure if this would be acceptable?? Marisawright Posted November 15, 2018 Share Posted November 15, 2018 Yes, there is nothing stopping you going on a holiday for a few weeks while you wait. immigration may question you because they'll want to be sure you're just coming for a recce, and are not expecting to stay permanently.
