Sunny18
My husband and I, both Australian citizens with passports and two children born in Australia and have passports moved to the Uk last year. We are moving back to Australia in a few months time. I had a baby while over here in the UK. After a bit of research am I right in thinking the baby will need a subclass 101 visa even though the rest of her family are citizens? JetBlast
The baby will have Australian citizenship by descent - https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/trav/citi/pathways-processes/application-options/descent Im not an expert but I would have though going down this route and get an Australian passport would be best.

I hope you're right as it's a hell of a lot cheaper!! Thanks I'll keep looking into it.
JetBlast
I think its just a case of getting the citizenship and then applying for the passport once you have it. Someone who knows more about it will be able to confirm or correct me. Congrats on the baby by the way!
