engozer
My husband has a Partner (Migrant) (Class BC) Partner (Subclass 100) visa. The decision date for the visa was 20 February 2014 . The required initial arrival date was 01 October 2014. The last date to arrive is 20 February 2019. In April 2014 we made a 'holiday' trip to Australia to 'activate' the visa. Since then our plans changed and we have resided in the UK until now, although we had another holiday to Australia in Dec 2015. We are now planning to live in Australia and are aiming to get there by 20 February 2019. What are the consequences if we don't get there by 20 February 2019? Would we have to apply for the visa again or can he apply for a resident return visa? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

engozer
Thanks for response. Should we apply for the RRV just before February 2019? Do you know if his RRV subclass 157 application is likely to be rejected? He would have been outside Australia for 3 continuous months immediately before applying. His father passed away in 2017 so that kept us in the UK. He is selling a business in the UK too in order to move to Australia.
