Am I right in thinking the rest of the process is the same as the 189 visa. ie. I wait for invite then submit application with all documents needed? Or is there anything I am missing? Also does anyone know how long I might wait for an invite? MaggieMay24 Posted January 13, 2018 Share Posted January 13, 2018 You'd first need to get an invitation from the state to submit the sponsorship paperwork. Once the state approves the sponsorship, they notify DIBP who then issue you the invitation to apply for the visa. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
