Guest Meags79
what type of evidence do they need to show your having a de facto kinda relationship? My partner is over in england and I am here. How is that going to work?
Guest Meags79
Can you get a working visa and then apply for a partner visa while they are here?
RobN
what type of evidence do they need to show your having a de facto kinda relationship? My partner is over in england and I am here. How is that going to work? That's probably not going to work for a de facto visa - for the de facto requirement you need to show you've been living together as if you were married for at least 12 months. It does allow for some small times of separation, but generally not long separations!
RobN
Can you get a working visa and then apply for a partner visa while they are here? I have heard of people doing this. I've also heard it's not the preferred approach by DIAC, but they do accept it as long as the evidence is there.
