benatis Posted December 15, 2017 Share Posted December 15, 2017 hi everyone, i am 26yo from indonesia. i currently still in Bridging Visa under RSMS 187, it's been 1 Yearnow since my visa lodged, work as a cook in Parkes, NSW. I apply 187visa as single status, i have girlfriend in sydney and she stillholding student visa.1. we are planning to get married after i got my PR, but she will notstaying with me in Parkes, she will work fulltime in sydney/ is thiswill be alright?2. I need advice how i can leave from Parkes early, because i feelreally like no life, bad and sad after a Year live in regional areaParkes here alone, so far i have no trouble working with my employer,what i know is i have to work extra 2 years when i got my PR. I wantto move to another regional area or workplace, that closer to SydneyRegion so i can meet my girlfriend every week in SYdney. is thatpossible?if you have any answer, idea or advice, share experience how to get this out, i reallyapreciate it. thanks so much. bobobz Posted December 15, 2017 Share Posted December 15, 2017 hello orang indo !as far as i know :1. it depends on the condition when she has the visa granted. she might have full right to work anywhere she wants as she is your dependent visa. so yeah she will be able to work in Sydney.2. Come on bro, getting the PR is never easy. everyone has the same struggling situation as much as you. if you have no problem with your employer, you should be feeling lucky. A lot of people including me is stuck in a bad employer alright. the 2 years period starts on the day where your 187 visa is granted, not when you have the bridging. so yeah, the day you have your 187 granted then thats the first day of obligation you have to work at.
