My hubby and I have recently returned to Scotland from Melbourne visiting family and would like to move their on a temporary or permanent visa (if possible). My occupation is classed as a Welfare Worker or Disability Services officer in Oz which is not on the skills shortage list for Victoria. My hubby is a Labourer and semi pro football player. We would like to move to the western suburb, Melton but there is no 457 visa opportunities for my occupation in this area. There are so many visas and I'm confused at what I should do next, the 186 & 187 also require employer nomination which employers don't seem to offer. Any advice/guidance would be appreciated. VERYSTORMY Posted April 16, 2017 Share Posted April 16, 2017 The fist thing is to check if your occupation is on one of the two main lists known as SOL and CSOL. I believe Tasmania is currently sponsoring the entire CSOL list.
