ryanforster
Hi, I've just called about a movecube and got a quote for a large one. £890 plus $240 in Australia. Are they open to haggling? Is that about right?
faithmove7
That's about right ...we booked ours last month and our stuff will be leaving at the end of this month.
Guest
Nope, not open to haggling. Its not like a shipping company that comes and packs for you etc. They are firm on their price. I've never read of anyone getting a discount haggling.
kevsan
Yep - thats all good. We used a movecube and it was brilliant. Only issue we had was the UK end where it came on a trailer about 60cm off the ground and had to leverage the fridge freezer in! Aus end the truck had a tail lift so all good. We would certainly use them again.

Is that about right? Ours is coming on Friday I think we were quoted £950 (from Scotland) but from memory our expected charges in Australia were much higher than your quote (about $900 I think)
