Pfleger
Hi, I have a question regarding 190 visa. According to 190 visa on DIBP website it says the visa allows me to study, live and work. However, I am wondering if I can live in the nominated state but do not work there and instead of working, studying (in different state). Would this be possible? VERYSTORMY
Yes and legally you are not obliged to live in the nominating state. Only a moral obligation
Pfleger
Hmm. but I want to honour the moral obligation imposed by the State. However, what if I work (part-time) and live (or not even work but still live) in NSW and study in other state (this is surely possible in the context of ACT because Queanbeyan is only two minutes away from Canberra.)? would this be okay? VERYSTORMY
You can do what ever you want - you have PR of Australia. It makes not one bit of difference where you live, work or study or what you do - you don't have to do any of them.
