Hi, I have recently been granted a 190 visa (NSW). However, I would like to know more about the residency requirement. The word residency requirement sounds to me that I only have to live in NSW (and plus they are only keep tracking on my address). Can I live in NSW (namely Queanbeyan) and work in ACT?

Hi, I have received an e-mail from CO few days ago asking for another AFP police check and the reason is because there is a different name. However, in fact, it is a correct name. However, in the form (AFP) it asked whether I have other given name (that has been used). So I put another name there. THis is because in China Yucheng and sometimes we use Yu Cheng. So that is why I put Yucheng and Yu Cheng AND SURNAME and the police check document shows like this CHEN, Yucheng Yu Cheng It seems that the CO thought the name was Yucheng Yu Cheng (while in fact the record shows two different versions of my name!) I already provided in this in Form 80 (placed both Yucheng and Yu Cheng) and the CO did not ask any other information! Should I contact the CO about this? really frustrated at this moment because to get another police check I would have to wait for another month!

Hmm. but I want to honour the moral obligation imposed by the State. However, what if I work (part-time) and live (or not even work but still live) in NSW and study in other state (this is surely possible in the context of ACT because Queanbeyan is only two minutes away from Canberra.)? would this be okay?

Hi, I have a question regarding 190 visa. According to 190 visa on DIBP website it says the visa allows me to study, live and work. However, I am wondering if I can live in the nominated state but do not work there and instead of working, studying (in different state). Would this be possible?

I have to because I must write down employment history and must explain gaps between educations, wchich means I have to write all educations to explain the gaps. Anyways good to see someone who did not write high school records

Hi, guys in my EOI I did not provide high school (because at that time I did not realise that it is secondary or above. But now I realised that it is secondary and above. I only mentioned my highest qualification (bachelor) and I used that for my ACS. However, in visa it seems that I have to write down my high school anyways in Form 80. Would this inconsistencies be fine?

Hi, I have few doubts regarding the employment history. I have missed one employment, which is casual employment. I only worked 10 hours per month and only received $200 per month. As such, back in the EOI part, in the SkillSelect website, it said something like only full-time so I did not provide this in the EOI. Now even for this form it seems that I shouldn't not put it (but I mentioned it in Form 80). Would this be okay?

In fact, this is not form 80. Anyways do I have to fill out every country I resided since birth?

Hi, I am writing 189 visa form and I do not understand one part: for each last permanent address in the country, I seriously do not recall the exact date (as it asks for specific date) and I only know roughly about months. In this case what should I do? this date from and date to is really making me stressed.

I have submitted my 189 and 190 visa few months ago and I would like to know whether the way I submitted the EOI is correct. Do is the dates inside the red part the date (THE DOE) ? Thank you very much!

Can I conclude that occupations that are not on that list won't get removed in the next FY?
