who will be skiing in June

I hate winter and I'm not into snow sports but I don't mind spending a weekend in the high country. The Australian bush covered with snow is just so beautiful. Any Brits new to Melbourne should try and get up there to check it out.

My parents are grey nomads and head north every year for july - sept.

This leaves their farm half way towards Mt BawBaw empty.

We take ours and another three families to the farm for a week in the school holidays.

One of our days is then spent at the mountain with toboggans.

With upto 14 of us, we have a great time.

We try to get back for a weekend during august as well.

BawBaw is only about $45 per car per day.

We all have our own snow chains but (touch wood) have never had to use them in three years so far.
